Home & Heart Shelter
Another case study I completed during my design course curriculum, however, this specific project was done with the intention of learning responsive web design and how resizing works across various devices. This was a great learning experience and highlighted that most platforms have a diverse user base with different options for accessibility.
High-Fidelity Prototype
This project was a great learning experience as mentioned before, and allowed me to create a user experience that was centered around values that I uphold even outside of design. The designs were completed on AdobeXD, additional pictures and documentation are below.

Information Architecture
To plan out the UI components that would be present throughout the design, it was important to firstly determine the hierarchy and organization of information that would be on the site. As the website would be for a shelter, I organized information by the type of animal and further specifications.
Interactive Capability
One of the other main goals I had for this project was making sure that the experience was engaging for the user and that they completed their task of finding a pet. Using research done on other filter examples, I built a design that reflected what a filtering function would look like for this prototype.

Audience in Mind
Part of early research for this project also involved creating user personas that reflected the target demographic for a local shelter. To curate the persona towards this project, I emphasized the user concern about general lack of time to go meet pets in the shelter and wanting an online experience to supplement that process but still allow for browsing.
